Good Morning,

Sorry I haven't been on here for the last week as have been out nearly everyday chasing supplies and getting Ivan to his doctor appointments.  I had wanted to get some photography done but was out when the light was just right so will try to get it done over the weekend and get the end products up for you to see and buy.

After being upto the wholesaler and finding a new Camel milk supplier had to go there twice as I was given the wrong milk so went back to get the right one but I didn't mind that as it is such a lovely drive and I just love seeing all the trees and lush green grass.   It is a little different to mine as my grass is brown and crunchy.  Anyway I am now stocked up on nearly everything so will be able to concentrate on finishing off my manufacturing next week.

I can't wait to get back to the Markets either as I have added to my stall by buying a banner that goes right along the top of the gazebo and also have 2 brand new awnings to try out. It should look super good and the customers should be able to spot me and find me easily.  The small 3x2 banner that I had was just not doing it for the customers as they could not see it unless they were on the same side as the banner and much closer.   Along with the new Paypal card reader  and some new shelving I hope to get when it is available again my stall should be much better for customers to see and access products as well as convenient paying.  WooHoo! I finally think I have it all together for markets or is there something else you would like to see.

Don't forget you can still order while I am not doing the markets even though I have been out and about I still check my emails and messages everyday.  So if you want to place an order just log onto the website www.wundanookcreations.com and you can place an order that will prompt you to pay using Paypal (postage not incl I will send invoice for that)  or if you don't want to use Paypal the there is a Contact form to use and I will then advise how much the order is and you can direct transfer to my account.   You can also order from Facebook by PM as well.

Well I must away as Ivan has to be go see a Doctor at Ipswich Hospital this morning.  Keep your eye out for some new product photos that I hope to get around to over the next few days.

If you are travelling this long weekend Drive carefully and safe and remember be kind to each other.

Good Morning,
Another week has gone by and I have been very busy in the Soap Room
making soap everyday for restocking the Market boxes and my shelves.

I did manage to get in making an old favourite but in a different format so that one will be ready in a couple of weeks.  I will give you a hint it is a tropical fruit in season right now.  Also made a totally new product the other day and that one will also be ready in a couple of more weeks.  I am gradually getting there
and have nearly finished making all the soaps on my list.

Today I have been making balms so now have Comfrey Balm back in stock and also Irritated Skin Balm.    The Irritated skin Balm is great for rashes and in particular Nappy Rash it is also good for insect bites, mild sunburn and also
light burns like if you dabbed on the iron or the side of the stove.
Comfrey Balm is great for bruises and also muscle and arthritic pain.

I have also made lipbalm base and Vegan lipbalm base today so tomorrow I can set up and poor the tubes and pots.  Only one more Balm to go and they are restocked.  I am feeling very accomplished this week as my to do list is getting smaller.    I have even found time to put in more ingredient orders so will be having a day out to go pick them up early next week.

The weather has turned very hot here this week so my gardening has been before sun up so as to get into the soap room before it gets way to hot in there.   Gardening in this weather is weed control and watering oh yes and harvesting my beans, tomatoes and of course the rhubarb.  I did have more lettuce in but the haet has sent them off to seed almost straight away and the new seedlings I planted in a foam box in the green house have all been eaten by some insect.  It is  not snails as we don't have them here seeing that it is so hot and dry.  I am tipping the slaters or maybe I have some of those white curl grubs that I haven't seen.  Looks like I will be buying my lettuce leaves from now on.  I grew a mini capsicum as well as the normal bell shaped one and I have hundreds of little capsicums hanging off the bush so I decided to pickle them in vinegar and spices.  this way I have capsicum all year round and i don't have to buy them.  I mean what else is the garden for but to provide vegetables so I don't have to buy them.

Well that is enough rambling for now I am off to check the temperature on my balms so that I can put the lids on and seal them up.

Take care in the heat and don't forget the native birds and animals as well as your fur babies.

Bye for now and remember be kind to each other.

Blessings.

Good Morning,

We are well into the New Year now so hope you all had a Happy and Safe celebration.  I went to bed as not into fireworks and such and I doubt if I could sit up until midnight so I did what I normally do and slept through the clock ticking over.

Do you make New Year Resolutions.  I do and I try to stick to them or I refine them as I go if they are not quite right.
This year my focus for the business is to upgrade my labelling
and do more research as well as making things easier for my customers in finding products on my page or website and easier methods of payment.

So in saying that I have found a card reader I can afford without having to charge customers extra and am now offering this method of payment when I start back at the markets in March.   I have started reviewing my products and reorganising them on the website to make them easy to identify and find.  Did you see my previous post where I did something wrong and my products all disappeared.  Oops and thank heavens I could fix it easily.

Not much going on in the soap room this week as it has been raining on and off for a few days.  I did have a day out in the rain doing deliveries in Toowoomba and I enjoyed it immensely as it was nice steady soaking rain and the gardens and lawns were lapping it up.  Now that the sun is out again
I must get on with getting some soap made or March will be here and I won't have any ready.  I have a list to get done and then some new stuff I want to try
as well as soap I have cremes and lotions to make but they are planned for February as I have to get more jars and bottles in first.

I have a question for you about Essential Oils.  Would you buy small bottles of Essential Oils if I had them on offer.  I ask this as I get quite a few queries and have been thinking of starting with everyones favorite Lavender Essential Oil.
Is that something you want to see on my stall and sites?
Please comment on here yes or no.  I have not thought of a particular brand or anything yet but will get on with it if the yays are the majority.

Well that is all for today so Have a good day everyone and remember be kind to each other.

Good Morning,
Well it is Good Bye to 2015.  amazing isn't it another year gone.
On reflection looking back at my soaping year it was the year for cleaning up
and reorganising both my products and my time.
It is great being a one person band as I can chop and change things as I find out what will work and help me get the results I want as I get older.

Now it is time to look forward to the next year and get my plans going
I have already set things in motion and over the next few months you should see big improvements in my Market stall and hopefully in my website and Facebook Page and folders.   I am excited about it and hope you will like the changes coming.

How about you what changes are you planning in your life for 2016. do you believe in NNew Years Resolutions.  I do to a degree but I make rolling ones that usually start out with a small idea then mushroom as I go along.  I take each day as it comes but I never loose sight of what my plans are and my plans are always flexible to be able to cope with whatever unplanned things crop up.  I am a planner and list maker but most lists are in my head as I am OCD that if I write it down then it must get done but in my mind I can switch things around to suit.   I know that is weird but that is the way it works for me.

I wish you all a SAFE and HAPPY NEW YEAR.
