Good Morning,

where do the days go as it is no sooner Monday then it is Friday again.  Oh boy! it is surely rolling along.
I have just spent a busy week making things from the Soap Room.
Stocked up on the lovely Honey goats Milk and Oats Soap as well as spearmint and also Vanilla.  the soap room smells delicious as have been experimenting with some other new scrubs as well and made the NEW CHEST RUB an all natural alternative to Vicks Rub but it is milder and does not give that burning feeling.  I found it good as I had a bit of a chesty cough and the usual stuffy nose so I rubbed a small amount across my cheek bones and it soon cleared the stuffiness.  I also made some shower puks with the same essential oils as the chest rub but was not happy with them when I used them so back to the drawing board to play around with them a bit more.

I had no markets to do last weekend and none again this weekend so it gives me time to catch up and do some playing in the Soap Room.  I love doing that as there is no pressure and no deadlines to meet  so it is easy.

Well it is almost time for the first Release of my CAMEL MILK SOAP if all goes to plan it will be next week just before my next Market.  I have been using it the last couple of weeks and am amazed at the difference in the felling on my skin.  I have been using Goats Milk Soap as well and think I like the Camel better.  I have to get some more into the mold as I can see the first lot is not going to sit here very long once people start using it.  If you want to order some I think you had better start now as I am sure it will be very popular.

We have been having some lovely rain nothing damaging like some areas just nice steady showers and my garden is loving it.  It is almost time to harvest my Tumeric and i am looking forward to doing some infusions to add to some of the products.  Tumeric is good for lots of different things including a natural coloring.  Isn't wonderful that I can grow things and either eat them or use them in my products.  I just love it.

Ok that is all for this week.  Take Care and be kind to each other.

Blessings

Good Morning,
I love doing Markets in autumn as have just had the best weekend doing 2 markets and the weather was absolutely fantastic.  A little windy but that kept the dreaded heat away so was very welcome.  Normally I try for one market each weekend as I find my body is just to painful after doing more but the calender has the 2nd Sat and the third Sunday in the one weekend for this month so had to do my two regular Markets one after the other.

Now to get into the soap room and see what I have to restock.
I remember Shampoo Bars was one as I sold quite a bit of it but my mind has gone blank on what else is needed so off to do some stock taking and then some more creating to put it back on my shelves.  I love making soaps and this gives me a good excuse to follow my passion.

Do you like having a massage. I just remembered I have to make some more massage oils as i sold what I had ready.  Is there a particular blend of scents that you like.  I do plain Lavender as it is very relaxing and also some Sensual ones with Ylang Ylang, Neroli and cinnamon which is just lovely also have a couple of others with blends of Essential oils in them but was just wondering if anyone has a favorite blend they would like to have made up.  Just leave me a comment and I will see what I can do.

My Papaya soap is curing nicely but I am a bit disappointed that it didn't keep the lovely orange red color of the fruit in it.  The soap has gone a brownish color but hey I just know it will be so nice to use so am anxiously watching it so that I can try it out.

I was busy last week  getting labels ready for my Camel Milk Soap which will be ready and available in another week or so.  I wanted a picture of a Camel to put on the label and scrolled through thousands before I found one I liked so here is my very own
Hump the Camel Logo for my new soap.  Isn't he adorable.

So now I have Hump and of course my Frog logo as well and was thinking why not go the whole hog and have a goat for my GM soaps.  What do you think should I do it?  I do have a Nanny Goat on my Market signs but never thought about putting it on the soap labels until Hump came along so let me know what you think and I will look into doing it.

Must go now and do some work so be kind to each other and have a great day.

Blessings.

Good Morning,  We are expecting a very hot day today above 40 degrees C  So hope the electrician gets the new fan up and running as we have no power at the moment and it is very hot and sticky already.
It is a good thing in away as I get to stay inside with air con on when we get the power back that is and catch up on a bit of other work that I have been neglecting.  My tax for one and some label designing for another plus some soap trimming.

I have been busy putting up some new flavors and some new soaps on Facebook and gradually getting the website upto date over the last few days.  Have you seen them yet? I am feeling pretty pleased with them as it is nice to something to completion.
I have been trying out the Pine Tar soap and the salve and am very happy with them as my rashes and itchy head are felling much better and i can now leave my hair go for a few days before I have to wash it.  That is good enough for me and my hair is feeling lovely.

Did you see the cute little face cloth bunnies as well.  Aren't the just to cute.  I will be finishing them off today or tomorrow as we are back at the Markets this weekend and Easter is just around the corner.  here is a glimpse of just the bunnies.

I will be adding a Goats Milk Soap Shape and packaging them in clear cellophane bags tied up with curly ribbons.  I think the kids will love them.

Still trying to find the time to make some other new products but these are winter type ones so still have a bit of time left to do it.   What with running around to doctor appointments for both Ivan and I and fighting to keep up with garden weeds and lawn mowing plus of course being older I have a Nanny rest in the middle of the day as that is usually when I catch up on all my reading about different products and methods of making them.  It will settle down from now for awhile  plus the soap room will be cooler so I can spend more time  out there then.
ok Electrician has the fan up and running so the power is back on for awhile until he gets the air con pulled apart at least so while I can I want to print labels.

Have a great day Everyone and don't forget to put out water for the furry and feathered friends as well.

Blessings
