Good Morning,

It seems ages since I have done any rambling on here as have been busy in the soap room cleaning it out and getting ready for a de-stash of things I don't use.  Do you have regular clean ups?  I have to or else I become a hoarder as I love little nick nacks and collect heaps of different things like
frogs and hand carved wooden items plus all sorts of ornaments that have sentimental value.  I am not de-stashing any of my treasures though just some candle making things as I am not doing candles anymore also quite a few small shapes of moulds for soaps.   I used to make lots of them and bag them up as giveaways for children that came to my stall at markets.

I stopped making them even though they were 100% goats milk as most children thought they were lollies and wanted to eat them.  Not good as Soap even hand made soap still tastes like well Soap.
I could use them for embeds in larger bars of soaps but that is not me and I don't want to go down that path.  I like my soaps plain or with a swirl of a different color in them I am not into all this stuff that others are doing as I wouldn't like them in my soap and am sure my customers wouldn't either.
I am not criticising those that do it is just not my thing so that is why I have decided to have a sale and clear them out of my cupboards.

Did you see the Facebook Clearance Folder I have put up.  These are products that I will not be carrying anymore as they are slow movers.
There is nothing wrong with the items for sale I just want to clear them off my shelves and there are some great bargains there particularly with
the Animal Scrubbies as they a 3 for $10.   So if you want a good bargain or to start getting things for Christmas stocking stuffers then these are a great buy.

It is getting closer to our holidays and I have started to plan our trips away
later during winter.  This year we are going to outback NSW  on the bigger trip away after we have been down to Coffs Harbour area for a few days
and upto the Mackay area as well on another trip.  I am so looking forward to the break.

Well that is all today so be kind to each other.

Good Morning,

I have to tell you I had a little accident yesterday when I was bathing Bernie.
I had forgotten to get the ACV rinse ready so turned my back to get it when Bernie jumped out of his bath and tookoff into the soap room.  I had picked him up and was coming back to finish his bath when I slipped on the wet tiles and fell heavily on my right knee.  Poor Bernie went flying and come to a stop up the linen cupboard.  He took off through the house soaking wet but I couldn't move as the pain was excruciating and I was not game to straighten my leg.   After a few minutes and when the pain had reduced a bit I managed to get myself up on my feet by grabbing the door handles.

I left Ivan to mop up the mess and I grabbed Bernie's towels to get him dried but he was already using my lounge chair and cushions to rub the water off and he seemed ok.  I was worried he would suffer from a concussion.
The pain in my leg was just horrendous so I went to my medicine cupboard and got some of my Pain Massage Balm and slathered that all around my leg from knee to toe as couldn't tell what part hurt more.  I then wrapped my knee in a bandage to support it.  Couldn't put much pressure on my leg so I sat in the lounge with my leg on the uplifted foot rest most of the day rubbing
more Pain Balm whenever it started to get to much to take eve3n applying it when I woke through the night.

This morning I woke up and all though my leg is still sore there is no bruising
and it is not throbbing.  I have no bruising that I can see anywhere unless it comes out later so am thankful for that as well.  I have always used this balm on my neck and shoulder as I get Bursitis and have arthritis in my neck and just about everywhere else and have found it helps to ease that achy throb of pain you get with these conditions.  I was not expecting it to be as helpful in an accute pain situation but cannot tell you how pleased I am that it did work as the pain was just awful.
Happy to report Bernie had no ill effects and he is his normal self this morning.

Sorry for my long ramble about me but I just wanted to tell you how awesome thes balm was and how it help me.

Good Morning
I hope you all had a lovely Easter Break.  Ours was a quiet one and we had a fair bit of lovely rain.  now all my tanks are full and the garden has been well watered.

Did you see the release of the Camel Milk Soap last week.  It is now available for you to buy and I am sure you will love it.  I have been using it and my skin feels so nice.  In fact I am in the middle of making some Body Lotion now from the milk.  I only have a limited supply and hope I can get some more when I need to as I think it is just so nice and also good for your skin.  I have put it up on the Website as well as the Facebook Page so if you are interested go check it out.

I also added a couple of new Everyday Soaps that are in limited supply as well.  I made an all natural one with infused Basil and Lemon Balm plus added Melissa Essential Oil to give it a more Lemon Scent.
It is a nice soap but being natural without added color and herbs in it is a light browny color.
The other one I used Buttermilk and Thickened Cream as the liquid and
Antique Sandalwood plus floral Patchouli as the scents.  i wanted to see if the flavor oils would change the color using the cream and buttermilk as the liquid but after sitting there for several weeks there was no change so that experiment was a success I would say and you the customer get a lovely Creamy Floral Soap to use.  I sprinkled some pink Jojoba Beads on the top to make it pretty no other reason so go check it out as well.

Not much else has been going on in the soap room apart from the wrapping and labelling so until next time.

Be kind to each other

Blessings
