   Good Morning,
Oh how I love these lovely autumn days now that those awful winds have abated.  Cool Mornings and nights but glorious sunny days and even though we need rain to lay the dust I can't but help enjoy these bright and lovely sunny days,  It just makes my heart sing and I can get out into the garden to do some much need mulching and getting beds ready for winter.

I am so happy at the moment as have been working flat out for the last few weeks filling some rather large orders and now the last one is all packed and ready for delivery on Monday.  Woo Hoo now to stocktake and get shelves filled up ready for the shows and fairs that are looming.

I only have  1 market and 2 shows to do before I have time off for our holidays but we have not planned a specific trip other than going to Mackay to see our son and family and drop off their soap and laundry wash for the next 12 months then drop in on some coastal towns on the way back home.  It is all up in the air a bit at the moment as I am waiting on some results of test I had last week and don't get those until July.  Maybe we will just go away for a few days and then pop back home to check on things not sure as yet  but hope I get inspiration pretty soon.

My garden is looking pretty bare at the moment as my help and I have been pruning and getting beds ready for winter.  I don't grow vegetables over winter as we are away but I like to prepare beds ready for spring planting by digging in Lime and Horse poo and then mulching.  I also throw slow release fertiliser around and mulch all the native trees and treat the orchids to some transplanting into bigger pots and seasol them so that they produce lots of flowers.  This year I have been extending some planting along the front of the tea trees and agapanthus along the fence at the back so next year if they all grow it should look quite pretty I think.

My fur babies are going well.  Mac is still barking at anything and everything but that is his nature.  Ivan chases him with a spray bottle but he thinks that is a game so barks all the more.  While Miss Megs is getting more adventuress and will walk along the lounge when I pick her up then curl up and go to sleep up the other end.  She is starting to bark at things she can see including the TV reflections in the window if the curtains have not been closed.  They have both decided that they don't want to sleep in the portacot anymore and so go to bed in their individual crates now.  I am really pleased with this as that is how they will sleep when we are travelling in the caravan.  The crates are left up as Megz likes to pop in one when Mack is being to boisterous or if I am out at all during the day.

Well I guess that is all the rambles I have for now so do take care and be kind to each other.

Blessings

Good Morning,
OMG where is this year going? I have just realised I have only 4 more Markets to go to before my winter break.  I am sure it was only Christmas yesterday wasn't it?
I have been a little remiss in keeping my ramblings up to date but have been very busy lately as have been making native animals and bird soaps for a wholesale account.  Almost finished those and then have to take stock and see what I have to make that can be curing while I am on my time away.  Never ending here in the soap room just as well I love what I do.

Have you tried my Stain Sticks yet?  They are selling like hotcakes and I can recommend them to anyone that happens to get stains on their clothes.  My stains are usually oil as sometimes I lift the stick blender up before it has stopped spinning when I am whipping up a batch of body goodies but I also get vegetation stains from the garden so all I do is wet the garment and rub the stain stick over it then give the garment a  rub a dub dub and into the wash with it comes out beautifully clean and no stain left.  They are available at the Darling Downs Handmade shop in Wilsonton Shopping Centre  or directly from me on Face book or the website.

This week I also was allocated a hutch in the shop and have filled it up with Gift Bags and Boxes.  These are all pre wrapped in cellophane and tied up with curly ribbons to go.  Each little tag has what the packs have in them but if you want something specific or a bigger basket then just pm from the page on Facebook and I can make it up.  There is a variety of packs to suit all occasions.

Things have been happening in the garden as well as I have a lovely young lady come in once a week and help me out with the weeding and mowing.  It is really starting to take shape as we have transplanted Gazanias right down one side of the house under the tea trees and I already have planted agapanthus down the fence line now I just need to get some more middle row shrubs and that is done.  Everything is coming along nicely and it all has been fed and mulched as well as some soil improver where needed.  I am so pleased with how it is coming along and I couldn't have done it all by myself as bending down is very painful after about 20 minutes.

My fur babies are also coming on nicely.  Mac is still as bouncy as ever and he turns 3 in a few weeks so am hoping that he will calm down one day.  Miss Megz is really settled in now.  She has stopped eating everything in sight and has filled out to a nice rounded 3.8 kgs.   She is getting brave and barking at things now but still comes inside after she has been out for her business not sure if it because I come inside or whether inside is her safety zone giving her background.  I have their crates set up all the time with a bed and a blanket inside as when Mac gets to boisterous or to loud Megz just goes in and hides but this week of their own accord they have been going in at bed time so I zip up the door and they spend the night in there.  It is really good as I was wondering how to get Megz to sleep in there for when we go away in the van.  Problem is solved.

Well that is all the news I have at the moment so take care everyone and be kind to each other.
Blessings
