Good Morning,
Well we have had Ivan's family get together down South and are back home again.  We were to leave to go North this morning but I am a big chicken and don't want to be caught up the coast if this "huge" rain event that everyone says is coming does actually get here so we will pack the caravan and wind it back down then wait until after the weekend to see what happens.

In the soap room I have packed all the goodies to take away with me so if you want to place an order while we are away and I still have it with me I can post from where ever we happen to be.  I intend to sell as we go too so am hoping I have enough to do both.
All my curing racks are full of cut soap curing while I am away so as to be ready for me to label and wrap ready for our next market term.  There must be about 500 soaps of all different kinds sitting in there and when we came in the door on Tuesday the scent just wafted out to meet us even I could smell it this time as normally I can't smell anything.  Just as well I have these soaps sitting there as when I look in all my storage trays where the soaps sit once labelled and wrapped there is not much in there but the market boxes are full so that is some relief.

I am using these extra days at home to work on the family history as I have been neglecting it to get all this soaping done.  I find it is something I have to keep doing as my memory is dreadful and if I don't print info out I don't remember it and then I get it all muddled up in my head.   It is not good when you have the wrong person in the wrong family but makes for some interesting reading some times.

Well that is all for now so stay safe everyone and don't forget if this weather does eventuate "IF IT IS FLOODED THEN FORGET IT".

Blessings

Good Morning,
I have been trying to find the time to write this ramble for days but
have been to busy to turn around trying to get everything done and enough soap made and curing ready for when we return from our trip.
We finished our latest Market term with a 2 day show over the weekend but lucky for us where we were did not receive all that wild weather that happened elsewhere.  Day 1 was overcast with heavy cloud and Day 2 was showery but had mostly cleared by the afternoon.  It didn't stop people from donning their wellies and putting on their cowboy/girl hats and coming out for some fun.  Good on them for supporting their local show I say as it only happens once a year.
I have posted the last of the orders so now am officially on a break for a couple of months.  I will be taking some stock with me so if you need something and I have it in the van then I can post it to you from where ever we happen to be.   I am hoping to do the odd Market on our travels if the weather is nice that is  after all we are taking "The Rainmaker" out of the shed and we are heading North where they are expecting a wetter than average winter but not to worry because if it is too wet we will just head further out west earlier than expected.
We will resume our next Market Term in August so you can always see us at our usual Markets (listed on the home page of website) and pick up your needs.

Some exciting news has just arrived and I will tell you more about it in the next few weeks but suffice to say I have been accepted into another multiple day event so will need to have plenty of stock ready for when the day comes.

Well that is all for now as I still have a couple of soaps to make as well as mowing the lawns and starting to pack everything.
So bye for now and remember be kind to each other.

Blessings.

Good Morning,
Well I survived the Food poisoning and having a skin cancer cut off my nose right where my glasses sit on the bridge.  I had 10 stitches out on Monday and it is almost all cleared away now except for one small piece.  This was not there 6 months ago as I get my skin checked all over every 6 months due to be fair skinned and living in QLD so urge everyone to get checked out for these nasty little devils at least once a year.

We managed to do 2 Markets last week and this week we are doing a 2 day Show at Toogoolawah then that is our last one for this Market Term.  We are heading off in the near future firstly to catch up with family then back home and pack the caravan and go North.  It is the best time to head up there as it will be cooler as one thing I hate is being out in the heat of the day.  I am hoping it is not too hot and also not too wet.  Must expect it though as we are travelling with "The Rainmaker" after all.  Never had the van out unless it rains hence the name.

This week in the Soap Room has been so busy as I am trying to make enough soap to fill my boxes for when I come home.  They will be sitting patiently waiting for me to come back and clean then shrink wrap them all for the next Market Term plus I have put my name down for another 2 day show during Carnival of Flowers.
I have all my curing cubes full and nearly all the racks as well with 3 or 4 more batches to make.  Never a dull moment here.

Thank You to all my loyal customers and welcome to all the new ones who have liked my Facebook Page.   I do post things on there as well as adding a "Froggy" Ramble at least once a week on the website.

Did you see the release of my all natural Deodorant this week.  I have been using this for over 12 months but was not happy with my packaging as I thought the wind up thingy and the push on lid allowed the stick to dry out.  Now I have found a push up tube with a screw on lid and while it is smaller I am much happier with it staying moist.  I will gradually faze out the larger wind up ones but will continue looking for a bigger push up one if customers want a bigger one.

Well I have to get back into the soap room as I only came out for a coffee break and the soaping is a calling.

Have a great day Everyone and please be kind to each other.

Blessings.
