Good Morning,
Happy days we have had some rain.  Only 11 mls but my garden needed it as having been away again it was quite dry when we come home then we had a couple of very windy days which dried it out more.  I am glad it rained as I have been to busy to get out there and water it so Yay! for rain.

Have spent the last few days making and labelling products for the new market on Sunday in Toowoomba.  Almost finished and then I have to work out what and how to pack it as I only have a half site which allows me one table. I think I have it worked out in my head and I have measured everything so hope I can put it all together on the day.

If you like Handmade or Vintage then pop out to the Clive Berghoffer Centre at the USQ in Baker Street and check it out This Sunday 9-2pm.  You can't miss the Centre as we were up that way on Tuesday delivering some chickens to my brother so went for a squizzy to see where it was.  Didn't realise the university was so big...Wow.

Have you checked out the Father's Day products I have put up on Facebook
If you want any of them better hurry as I will be packing them up with all the other goodies tomorrow and I expect to sell them all on Sunday.  With only a few days to go until Father's Day these items would make a great gift for your special Dad.

Okay I must away and head into the Soap room as want to get everything done today and hopefully bath Berny as well.

Have a great weekend everybody and be kind to each other.

Blessings

Good Morning,
It is very chilly here this morning after those dreadful gusty winds have ceased to reek havoc around the place.   I did not go outside much at all yesterday as it was so strong and the dust was flying.  Today is supposed to be less strong wind and still cool so very enjoyable so I might be able to do some gardening again at least water as everything will be so dried out after the winds.

Things have slowed down in the soap room as I am just doing restocks at the moment so can spread the work load out.  All orders have been sent and I have even been doing extra spring cleaning in there.  It is amazing what you find when you move everything out to clean.  Nothing bad just some things I had forgotten about and apparently never used now I don't know why I bought them in the first place.  Oh well I can always pass them on or recycle them out.

I have been working on my table presentation for the extra market at the end of this month.  It is a handmade and vintage market and while I am in the handmade section I want to keep the vintage scenario so have found a lovely hand embroidered tablecloth that my grandma worked and gave to me.  It must over 50 years old and can be classed as vintage plus me I am more than 50 so I must be vintage as well.  I will use my usual dark green velvet floor length table covers and then put Grandma's one over the top as it is only a small square one.  That will have to do as I am only having the one table this time and everything will be on that one table.  If you live in the Toowoomba area and want to come along check out The Handmade Expo and Vintage Market online.  It is on Sunday 30th August and there is going to be a lot of stalls.  Hope to see you there and don't forget to say hello.

This weekend we will be at the Queens Park Market for the first time in a few months so if you can't wait for 2 weeks to see us come along there and get some soaping goodness for your skin.

Well hope you all have a lovely weekend and be kind to each other.

Good Morning,
It is such lovely weather here at the moment.  cold frosty/foggy mornings until the sun  comes up and warms things up.  sparkly days until the sun goes down and then it cools right off.  The lovely weather tempted me to get out in the garden yesterday and I have cleaned up one bed by trimming the dead stalks of all the chrysanthemums and culled back that dreaded asparagus fern that keeps coming up as well as giving the rest of the garden a soaking.  It is a great feeling having achieved that but the rest will have to wait now as the soap room is still my number one priority.

That reminds me I have been meaning to ask everyone if they would be interested in a gardeners soap.  It would be a soap with nourishing oils and something to make it scrubby to clean those grubby hands  maybe a gardeners pack would be a good idea with the new soap and some nourishing hand creme plus some cuticle creme.   Your thoughts would be welcome and don't be shy please participate as I really would like your opinions and suggestions.

I have almost finished the large order then I can get on with some
restocking as some of my lines are getting low.  It is a big help to me as I am also updating my product photos.  It is amazing how I have progressed in both my soap making and my photography since I rushed to get everything onto the website once I had decided to sell online.  Can you see the difference that is taking place.   I cringe when I look at some of the earlier shots I put up for everyone to see.
I need to get a new one of my dog soap and maybe Berny as a model for it
as I use it all the time on his coat and he is so shiny but don't think I could get him to pose long enough so it would be a happy (or not so happy) shot.

Well must go and check on my next lot of shrink wrapping candidates after all it is a working day and I have heaps to do.

Blessings to all and enjoy your day.

Good Morning Everyone,
Well our holiday is definitely a thing of the past now as we have been back home for 3 weeks and I have been so busy.  First job was to get all the washing done and the van cleaned.  It is all good and packed away in the shed until I bring it out next week to have a service and new tyres if needed.
We are taking it away again but only for a few days as I am busy with Markets again so have to be home to do them.

We are only going as far as Taree to visit with family as I am endeavouring to do a family tree and when you are down near the bottom of a family of 8 there is a lot that has happened before your time.  So a few days of reminiscing and I should be well on my way with my version of our tree.

Sorry haven't been seen on Facebook very often since coming home but there never seems to be enough time and I am finding Facebook a bit tedious seeing that they don't release posts to everyone.  I feel that if I have say 100 likers then whatever I post should go to those said likers unless they choose not to receive them but Facebook doesn't see it like that and so maybe 6 or 8 people see the posts unless I pay to send it to more.  If they could guarantee some sales from my paying then I would but they can't do that and I am not sure if it is the same 6 or 8 people seeing the posts everytime or what.
They do say that if you don't interact with the posts then eventually your like becomes inactive and gets deleted.  It is all just to hard in my book as I am on heaps of groups and pages and I don't have time to visit them all everyday or even once a week.  I will step down from my soapbox now.

I have been very busy the last couple of weeks getting a huge order made and shrink wrapped.  I am nearly done only a couple of hundred to go thank goodness and will be delivering the order at the end of the month.  My house smells absolutely fantastic a mixture of fresh flowers, ripe fruit and spices...yummm.    While I was looking for the molds to do this order I decided that I would have a clean up and sell off the ones I don't use.  Oh boy that really put the pressure on as I had parcels everywhere waiting on details and payments but it all worked out in the end and the last ones are going out today along with this weeks orders.  The local Post Office loves me for now as I keep them busy.

The last job I had to do this week was get my table worked out for a new market I am going to at the end of the month.   I have taken a half site which allows me one table so I needed to work on how to do a decent display.
Hopefully I have come up with a good idea that will incorporate what I do and what the market is about.
The market will be in Toowoomba on August 30th "The Handmade Expo and Vintage Market"  it is called so keep your eye out for any advertisement
and come along as it should be a great day.

Well the soap room is calling me as I am making my Beer'N'Bubbles  soap today.  Need to get some others done as well but all in good time I guess.

Hope you all have a great weekend.

Blessings
