Good Morning,
It is the last day of winter today and I am already missing it.  We didn't get much cold weather here this year again.  Just a few scattered frosts and some wet cold windy sort of days but none of the toe numbing weather that I like to get out in.  Looking forward to Spring though as I enjoy all the flowers coming out and the new growth on the trees.  Hopefully it won't be as hot as last Spring nor as dry as my poor garden is a mess and needs rain badly.

I am almost finished in the soap room with making all my stock so the shelves and soap boxes are looking good.  Still a couple of products to replenish and a couple of new ones to take photos of and we are done.
Decided to take the weekend off because I was almost done and worked outside on Saturday in the beautiful sunshine.  We didn't have any Markets to do either.
Dug the sweet potatoes up and was surprised at how many there were but we and the neighbours will use them.  Also dug the turmeric and most of it will be for sale at the Markets we attend over the next few weeks.  Will have to spend some more time out in the garden beds and get them ready for planting the summer vegetables.
Sunday we went out for breakfast then continued on up to the Bunya Mountains.  It is incredible up there with all those majestic trees and mountains.  We ended up in Dalby for lunch but unfortunately by the time I arrived home I was feeling ill and yes I had another bout of Food Poisoning.  Have decide to never eat chicken out ever again.

I will be working on some wholesale orders over the next week and doing my usual Markets then I will be packing and pricing stock for the Geham Craft and Garden Show during the carnival of flowers so if you to want a lovely drive in the country and see some beautiful gardens and flowers why not do it when all this is happening I am sure you will be delighted.

Well that is it for today as I have to go Toowoomba this morning for an appointment so take care and be kind to each other.

Blessings

Good Morning,
It is a beautiful day here today.  We had 30 mls of rain during the week and the grass is greening up as well as everything living thing around here looks sparkling clean.  You don't really notice how dusty the garden and trees get until it rains do you.
I have spent everyday in the Soap Room this week and can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel as all my soap boxes are full and the Lotions and potions shelves are almost there.  will take photos when I finish labelling and show you what I have been doing.

Have you seen the posts coming out now for the Geham Craft and Garden show?  that is the 2 day (or 3 if you count setting up as a day)  event I have been alluding to recently.  I have shared a couple of posts on my Facebook page so if you are going to Toowoomba for the Carnival of Flowers then why not go that little bit further out towards Crows Nest and visit the Geham School.  Check out their Facebook page for more information I am sure you won't be disappointed.

Oh boy it is Father's Day next week and I was going to do some extra specials but time has run out.  However I have made an Aftershave Crème and can make up a small gift pack with shaving soap if anyone is interested.  I changed the size of the Aftershave to 100gms instead of the usual 50gms so price will be altered accordingly.  I have to get photos done and put up but if you want to order before that happens just send me an Email or fill in the CONTACT Form on the website.

Well I am off to have some lunch and then label this mornings products that have been made.  I don't have any Markets to do this weekend so that gives me a bit of extra time up my sleeve to finish off.

Have a great weekend everyone and remember Be kind to each other.

Blessings

Good Morning,
Wow! this week has flown by as I have been so busy both in the Soap Room and out of it.    I have finally caught up on all the appointments so can now concentrate on making Lotions and potions in preparation for the coming Markets and shows.  I have also finished labelling and wrapping what feels like a ton of Soap since we came back home but it is all done now and packed away.  So now you can order any of my products and I can get them delivered or posted to you all sooner.  I feel like I can do the Toyota thing "Oh What a feeling"  bit to old to do the jump though.

We have put our caravan in to have some repairs done as the poor thing was dragged over some very rough and corrugated roads on our trip and has suffered a few damages.   The winch needs to be replaced (old age has caught up with it) plus I was naughty and left one clip done up while trying to wind the top up and just maybe have broken the wire that puts up one corner.  I really thought I had undone them all but this one was hiding under the awning and as I do all the heavy work must have missed it.  Oh well all the wires probably need checking and/or replacing anyway.  The roads were that rough that it shook the full door off its track up in the ceiling
where it is stored for travelling.  I had to wrap it in a sleeping bag and slide it along the floor to bring it home as the slidey thing just wouldn't move.
We are also getting a TV antenna fitted as someone (not mentioning any names here)  dropped the little Saturn one we had and it cracked so the reception is cracked as well.  I didn't mind as I don't watch TV but someone has to watch the news morning and night.

Have you checked out the website lately?  Since I made a ton of soap before we left for our trip there are some new soaps there now.   Oaty Goat is a lovely soothing unscented Goat Milk Soap with whole Rolled Oat Flakes  through out the bar and Honey Goat is yes you guessed it a very moisturising Goat Milk with Manuka Honey in it.  Both of these came about as a request from a customer so if you want something specific please don't hesitate to ask as I love to research and make new things.  Oh and this week I have a couple of new Lip Balm flavours ready another customer request just in time for the up coming summer.  Watermelon and Coconut Flavours and both seem nice.  Only available in the tubes at the moment.
Almost forgot did you see the cute little Sheep Soaps as well  made from the rich and lovely AWASSI Sheep Milk.

Well must go for now and see what else has to be made so stay well and be kind to each other.

Blessings

Good Morning,
It is a lovely clear morning again this morning after a cloudy one yesterday.  I made another trip to my wholesaler yesterday and it started out showery but then came up so windy I had trouble keeping the car on the road in parts.

Had a very busy week last week outside of the Soap room unfortunately as I had appointments to catch up on after our 2 months break.  One more today then all I have to do is drop the caravan off for repairs and I am up to date with everything.
Even though I have been out and about I have managed to make some of the long list of products sitting on my to do list so am pretty happy with myself in achieving that.  after today will be in the soap room getting all the lotions and balms etc. stocked up.

We returned to the Markets last Saturday and had a lovely day meeting and greeting old and new customers.  It was a bit of a shock getting up at 4.30am in the dark again and it was so cold.  I rugged up well but with layers as soon as the sun came up it started to warm up and the layers started coming off.   It turned out a beautiful day and everyone enjoyed themselves.
I visited our local school on Sunday as they started up a Market while I was away.  There were lots of stalls and customers there and I found somethings I have been wanting to get but unfortunately they have a few Soap Makers so I won't be attending.  I know competition is good but I don't think small markets can support to many of the one type of stall.  People want variety and even though every ones product is not the same in the end it is still Soap and is used for the same thing.

Well I guess that is all for today as I have to have breakfast and get ready to head out for my last appointment this week.

Have a great day every one and remember be kind to each other.

Blessings.

This photo is a Cassowary that wanted to share my lunch at Etty Bay near Innisfail.

Good Morning,
I have been very busy in the
Soap Room this week and have completed about half of the labelling and wrapping of all the soaps that are ready including some new ones as well as labelling shopping bags and putting a business card in them ready for Markets next weekend.
Just as well as this week
I am out every day catching up on appointments and visiting my Wholesaler which I look on as a day out as we always stop somewhere nice for morning tea and lunch along the way.  I love trying out new cafes and places to visit.

In between running around I have to get a gift basket ready for a raffle prize to a very worthy outback cause.  It is the State Conference for Parents of Isolated  Outback children.  I would have liked to do more for the group but unfortunately time is a big factor and as you all know it takes 6-8 weeks for soaps to cure and their weekend get together is in less than a month.  Never mind they will have a lovely basket of my goodies to try and win and I hope it raises lots of money for them.

As I said I am doing lots of things outside the home this week but that doesn't stop my brain thinking about new products.  I do have a couple in mind and one being tested at the moment soon to be released but if there is anything that you want that is not in my product list then please don't hesitate to contact me and I will endeavour to research and try making a test batch to see how it goes.  I love making new things and although they don't always turn out to be a seller it is fun trying.  some products I only make on request but they are listed on my brochure and website.  I do this so that they are fresh for you the user as they are not huge sellers but I still like to be able to provide them to the people that like them.  Bath salts and Bath milk are some that come to mind so if you use these products then please don't hesitate to ask for them as it does not take a long time to have them ready for posting or delivering.

Well back to the labelling and wrapping for me.

Have a great day everyone and be kind to each other.

Blessings.

P.S.
Thought you might like to see some birds and animals that we photographed on our trip instead of my usual frog one.  These are the dancing Brolgas

Good Morning,
We are back in the Soap room today after our big holiday.  We have travelled over 7000 klms and saw almost everything on the bucket list.
Couldn't do any dirt roads as there was rain and floods out in Western Queensland.  Yes Floods so our van "the Rainmaker" has lived up to it's name again.
Now it is back to reality and getting things done at home.  We arrived home late Saturday and while everything is green and the lawn needs mowing an unheard of thing here in the winter as normally the grass is brown and frosted off for a few months, I have been madly watering the gardens as the ground is so dry.  Just as well as I let the vegetable garden go while we are away with just the sweet potatoes and the rhubarb also garlic left in it as they were all starting to wilt but a little water has revived them and they are sitting up in the sun this morning.

In the Soap Room this week I will be madly cleaning, labelling and shrink wrapping all the logs of soap I made and left to cure while we went away.  There are over 23 different batches to be done so that will be a big job.
I will also have to do a stocktake in the lotions and potions room and see what needs making in there as it is only a few days before I am back at the Markets and a few weeks before I have a 3 day show.  As you can see there is no easing into it but I am on track as only have the car and van to clean from our trip.  All washing and ironing has been done and sorted yesterday.

The shop is now open full time so if you are in need of anything just contact and if I have it ready to go it will be sent within 24 hours of receiving your request.

I hope you followed and enjoyed my trip via my photos I tried to keep you all informed of what was out there to see.  I love going to small towns and discovering all the interesting scenery and other things about the town.  I thank you all and hope it wasn't to boring for you.  If you haven't seen the photos check out my page Wundanook Creations on Facebook and you will see them.  I still have some to move into the trip album and also to check cameras and phones to see if there are anymore not put up yet but the bulk is there for your viewing.
Must go now and get on with all this work.  Stay well and be kind to each other.

Blessings
