Good Morning,    Well I hope you have all had a lovely Christmas and looking forward to the New Year coming.
We enjoyed our Christmas Day as had a friend come over and spend the day with us.  It is nice to share Christmas and as our children are scattered all over the place it is not possible to spend it with all the family but we were in contact by phone so that makes it ok.

it is very hot and humid and we had rain leading upto Christmas enough to make the grass green and we had to get the mowers out.  Have had a little bit more over the last couple of days just good soaking rain so no puddles yet as the ground has soaked it all up.  The garden loves it at least.

In the Soap room I have been busy making up some new products and finally getting the Baby Gift Packs done that I have been thinking about.   I will put these up on Facebook over the next few days so keep watching for my postings.  I have also been doing a stock take this morning as my soaps seem to be getting down so will be making some old favourites and maybe some new ones as well.  I am removing a few soap flavours as well as they are not fast movers and I need the room in my Market Boxes for new ones.

I am mainly not doing Markets during January and February as it is way to hot for my body butters and Cremes also for me to sit out in the sun.
I will let you know on Facebook if I intend to do any but it will all depend on the weather.  I usually take this time to do some testing and investigating for new products plus I try to catch up on the Housework that seems to get put aside.  You know the jobs I mean like cleaning out the cupboards and doing the curtains and windows.  Things I hate but they must be done.

Wishing you all many Blessings for 2015.

Good Morning,

I have been busy in the Soap Room this morning checking and cutting my new Soaps and test out my new stamps  such fun.

Picture
Pine Tar Rounds or maybe Hockey puks what do think.  I haven't cut the main log yet as it is still too soft but I have used my new soap stamps on this one and they turned out looking great.  So let me know what you think of these ones and would you buy soaps with this stamped on it?
Picture
These Soaps have just been cut with and stamped and still need cleaning up a bit but they will get that after they have cured or hardened up.  When they are ready to use I will ask for a couple of volunteers to try them but you will need to be a sufferer of psoriasis or excema so that we can see if they help with your ailment.

I also cut my other experiment the Cucumber and Aloe Soap made with my very own organically grown Cucumbers and Aloe.  I am feeling really proud at the moment as it is actually a nice Soap..  I have never liked the idea of veges or fruit in Soap but I decided to try this one as I have cucumbers growing everywhere in my garden and the nieghbours only wanted so many.

Picture
Once again these are just cut and not cleaned as they are very soft but I couldn't wait any longer.  I tried to stamp these as well but I was not game to press to hard as they are very soft so stamp did not come out enough or maybe the lighter colour doesn't show it up in a photo.

I had another parcel of ingredients delivered this morning as i want to stock up a bit before everything shuts down over Christmas.  In it was all that I need for a couple of new products I am planning for the New Year and some other goodies for my lotions and potions as have been having a few problems with some products so decided to try a different supplier to see if that makes a difference.  I am going to have fun over the Market break as long as I get into the Soap Room early before it gets to hot.  Wish me luck and you will see the results in a few weeks.

We had a rather windy storm yesterday with such loud thunder.  It blew our nieghbours tree right out of the ground.  I spent an hour this morning gathering up sticks and twigs from our trees all around the yard as they were flying everywhere.  Only had 12 mls of rain but that is ok just enough to give the garden a good soaking and more for the tanks.  The ground is still soaking all the rain up as we have not had a puddle left after the rain as yet.

Well I am off to go play in the Soap Room and see what else I can do in there.

Good Morning,

It sure was hot here again yesterday but if it brings some rain then I can grin and bear it...just.  I sat inside all day and got my Christmas cards done without the aircon on as well as I shut the house early and put on the fans that kept the house cool until around 3pm then we had the air on.

I am having my patience tested as I have made my first Pine Tar Soap yesterday as well but I used the maximum water allowed as apparently this soap gets very thick very quick and I didn't want a blob to put in the molds.  Now I have to wait until it is hard enough to take out and cut but I want to see what it is like.   May not cut it until after Christmas can I wait that long.  Well guess we will see.

I have also prepared the Cucumber and Aloe but have to wait for it to cool down so I can Puree it.  Hopefully that will be done and put to bed today so I can at least cut it tomorrow sometime or Saturday Morning.
I will keep you informed as to how that one goes as well.

Don't forget to check out the Albums and get Free Postage or 25% off if you bu $50 or more details are pinned to the top of my page and because not all products are on the website (I am slack I know)  the sale is on Facebook only for Australian Residents Only.

Well I am off to the soap room before it warms up to much as want to play around with some Body Wash to get it ready for selling.

Good Morning,

I have not been on here for awhile as last week was busy catching up on my garden maintenance after all the lovely rain we had as well as getting things together for the Markets but unfortunately didn't get to do any Markets as I cancelled one due to the rain and it turns out I could have gone as rain cleared off when Market was due to start then the other one I turned up at but it had been cancelled due to the rain.   Disappointing but oh well that is the way it goes.
I am inside today working as way to hot outside today.  Ipswich will be 40 so guess where I am will be around 44.  Definitely not my kind of heat but the weatherman says there should be storms tomorrow so will put up with it if it means more rain.

I hope to be making my Pine Tar Soap this morning and going to do a little experiment as well.  Normally I don't like food things in my soap except for my home grown Aloe Vera but this time I will be adding some Pureed Cucumber
just because I have so many in the garden and thought I would try it as Cucumber is very good and so soothing  on your skin.  Cross your fingers and hope my experiment works out then you can try my new creation.

It is getting very close to Christmas so I have pinned a SALE NOTICE to my Facebook page.  You have the choice of Free Postage or 25% off if you spend $50 or more on my products.   So go to it and pick up some Bargains
for those last minute Gifts.

Oh! the Post has just arrived and I have to go sign for a parcel so have a wonderful day everyone and be Kind to each other.

Good Morning,
It is much cooler here today and get this,  It is damp - Oh Happy Days!
We had 45 mls of rain yesterday and last night and it is still coming over in showers today.  Downside is I may not get to the Markets tonight and Tomorrow but that can't be helped as I would rather have the rain.  Thank Goodness that it is covering a wide area and a lot of the farmers are actually getting water in their dams as well.

If I can't get to the Markets and you need something please contact me and
I can deliver or post depending where you are.  I will post to Facebook later today if I am able to go or not.

I am excited this morning for another reason although I can't use them yet
I have just received my soap stamps that I ordered as now that I have the multi bar cutter doing straight cuts my soap looks plain and well frankly a bit boring.   I need to make some more soap as soon as I can so that I can test them then I will show you and you can tell me what you think.  I have to practice with them as well as it depends on the hardness of the soap as to how clear the stamp comes out.

Christmas is getting so close now.  We took Berny for a lovely drive yesterday to go and pick up our hand smoked Hams and we also got some lovely smoked bacon while we were there.   Couldn't go on as we had planned to pick up the new soap liquid as they are not providing it for sale now so we decided to go for a good run in the car just because we could I guess.  Was lovely to see how the countryside has greened up with the rain and so refreshing after the harsh dry sun and brown everywhere even the trees looked cleaner.

We got home just as the storm was roaring through and the lightning in those last few kilometres was spectacular but I would rather be home inside as I hate being on the road when there are storms around.  At least there was no hail in this lot just wind and rain Oh and Thunder right over the top of the house as well so loud.

Ok I am off to restock my Market Boxes just in case the weathe
r decides to lift and then I am ready to load up and go.

Have a lovely day Everyone no matter where you are.

Blessings

Wednesday 10th December

Good Morning,
We had some more lovely rain last night another 23 mls so doing the happy dance as now have lots more tank water for the gardens and my grass has started to green up...Whoo Hoo! no more spiky crunchy feeling whenever I walk on it.

Had all our mowing equipment serviced yesterday just in time before we have to start mowing again.  Gotta love a tradesman that comes when he says he will and works for few hours without a break unlike another one that turned up this morning when he said he would be here on Monday.  Luckily it was not a major problem with our biocycle .
I wonder could I make a Voodoo doll soap and stick a pin in it when they don't turn up or call just as a reminder to them.  would be good if it worked don't you think.

I am disappointed after getting an Email re the new liquid I wanted for soap making.  It is not available after all and not sure when it will be so will have to put my new idea on the back burner until I get it sorted out or find another supplier but don't despair as I am finally taking the plunge and going to use
Pine Tar in a soap.  Pine Tar is apparently great if you suffer with psoriasis
I can remember my mum using it in a shampoo so I will make a soap and a shampoo bar sometime next week and when it is ready I will call for a volunteer with the dreadful ailment to try it out for me.
I will also try it and see if it helps with my itchy scalp problem as well.

I haven't been spamming much in the last week with Stocking Stuffers as you are probably sick of seeing my posts but everything is still available so if you need anything just pm or email me and your order will be attended to promptly and either delivered or posted depending on your address.

Well that is all for today as I am off to meet and have coffee with one of my customers.  She buys a years supply of Goats Milk from me this time every year so it is nice to sit and chat for awhile.

Blessings.

Good Morning,

It is oh so muggy here today and we have had rain Friday and Saturday.  23 mls and already the grass is starting to green.  Doing the happy dance as I have not had to water the garden for 3 days plus we have some water in the tanks.

Still doing the happy dance I have had all my stitches out and just have a small steri strip across the scar ,  have to wear that for a week but the best news is everything has come back clear and there is no more cancer in that area.  I just have one more visit and I am finished with that for now.

We did the Mulgowie Market on Saturday despite the rain.  It was a lovely market but not a lot of stalls due to the weather.  Santa came and sat on the hall verandah to see the kiddies and give out gifts.  I bet he was glad to take off the suit after a couple of hours as it was very muggy.  We did have a shower of rain not to heavy though and it didn't deter the customers at all.
Thank you to all those who came out to support the stall holders and the Hall Committee.

I think I am in wind down mode at the moment as I only have 3 Markets to go before Christmas and maybe one after Christmas depending on the weather of course then I take a break until the weather is a bit kinder as it is just far to hot for me and more importantly my products to be out in it.   Must be getting old I think.

Well duty calls and I have to obey so have a great day everyone.

Blessings

Good Morning,

It is a warm one here again with fluffy white clouds floating around but no rain unfortunately.  I am working in the Soap Room today making Hand Creme at the moment but have also made some more dog soap and want to do some baby products as well for gift packs.  Maybe not all today but hopefully in the next few days.

Next week I am picking up a new liquid to make soap with so want to have a clear slate to get on with that.   This liquid is supposed to be better than Goats Milk so can't wait to incorporate it into my Soap Range.  More details after I have picked it up.

Have you shopped for the children's Teacher Gifts yet?  If you haven't then check out the folders on my Facebook page and you will find some lovely things like heart shaped tins with Solid Perfume in lots of flavours or there are round tins as well.  The pictures on the tins are just beautiful.
You could also choose a bar of soap and I could put a Bath Pouffe with it.
There are all sorts of gift ideas and together we can certainly come up with one that suits your needs.

I made up Gift Baskets for a friend yesterday so someone is going to get lots of beautiful Wundanook Products for Christmas.  If you want a Gift Basket or a smaller Gift Bag just pm me and we can certainly come up with something for you from small to very large if you want it.

Well I am off to the Soap Room so hope you all are having a wonderful day and please be kind to each other in everything you do.

Blessings

Good Morning,

I have had a very lazy weekend as did not feel like doing much after having
the nasty cancer thingy removed again from my face.  It was worse this time
and I had a lot more anesthetic needles all around my face.  Now I have an upside down Vee from my eye down along my nose.  Have to go back on Saturday and get some stitches out then again next week to have the rest out.   Hopefully this will be the last and the results come back to verify that.

Have you seen the post for the NEW Facial Bar I have just released.  I am very pleased with it so hope you like it to.   There are limited bars this time
so if you want one better order early just in case.

Today I am making Doggy Soap as it is very popular and takes longer to cure than other soaps.  I use a high amount of Neem Oil in my recipe so that is why it takes so long but it is well worth the wait as we have never had any troubles with Ticks and Fleas plus it is so good for doggy's skin.

Well the count down has begun as it is December 1st so only 24 more days to go until Christmas Day.  Have you finished your shopping yet?  I have been busy not with shopping but with making the Christmas cake and this year I made 2 boiled Christmas Puddings as the recipe is huge.  they are in the fridge now just waiting until the day.    They certainly smelt nice while cooking as there was so much alcohol in each one.  I soak the fruit for a week beforehand and every day just pour on a bit more and stir it up.
Yummy!
