I am finding it hard to get back into the swing of things so am running behind with everything I do. The days seem to be flying past and I am not getting any further ahead and it is not because I have a real lot on to get done but I just seemed to have lost my Mojo at the moment. Please bear with me until I can get back on track.
We did take a few days off last week and went South to catch up with family members, which was lovely by the way but I didn't get anything done over those 4 days and then we came home just before the heavy rain and I had to contend with lots of water flowing through the yard.
Now here it is the first week of April gone OMG! where does it get to. Anyway I have to put my head down and get motivated to start prepping for larger events as have some coming up on the horizon soon and will need extra stock.
Have you ever had this problem and how did you get over the slump.
We have been back at Markets for a month missed last week at Mulgowie due to flooding in the area but I wasn't worried as was feeling tired after our trip and there were a couple of jobs I got done that had been on the list for awhile so all is good. Markets are always pretty slow this time of year as well so that is probably adding to my doldrums but I will pull up my Big Girl panties and get into it from now on I promise.
In the Soap Shed I have been making oil diffusers in 3 scents that people like but if you are not a fan of Vanilla, Lavender or Black Magic then please ask for your favourite scent and I can make them up for you. I am trialling one at the moment with my Bugs Away scent to see if it works as a diffuser for inside as we get the odd bug inside what with Mac coming and going through the screen I have up so that he can. Have just ordered a bamboo screen to see if it is better than the magnetic screen I have as well.
I also have a new scent to make in Soap which will happen next week. This one is for the men I am thinking so in about 6 weeks that will be ready for sale.
Don't forget Mothers day is only a few weeks away and if you would like a lovely gift Pack or basket for your mum then please let me know and I can make one up and deliver it in the local area for free.
Mac has accompanied us to a couple of Markets and has been a very good boy. He has new harnesses and a new hat that he parades around the grounds in when I take him for a walk but he likes to go into his crate and watch the world go by mostly. I was surprised at how well behaved he is so he will probably be at most Markets we do now.
Well that is enough for now so I am off to get things ready for tomorrows Market.
Stay safe and remember be kind to each other.
Blessings
