Oh how I hate this humidity we are having here in QLD. I don't mind it being hot but when you drip everytime you try to move it is a right pain. I am running the dehumidifier all day in the soap room so that the soaps that are curing stay dry.
Anyway it hasn't stopped me working as I just carry a hand towel around and wipe my face and neck when it gets to bad.
I am still working on restocking the shelves and only have a few more batches of various cremes to make. I finished off all the lotions last week and thisweek will be doing face, foot and hand cremes. also been making Goat Milk Dinosaur Soaps as they disappear pretty quick at the markets so best to have a stash.
Remember the question I asked about the Lotion bottle tops whether you wanted pumps or the flip tops. Well the consensus is for pump tops so I will be putting pumps on all lotions and keep the flip tops for shampoos and conditioners. I will carry som spare flip tops to the markets as well so if you want one just ask and I will give you one. I decided not to include both with each bottle as
a) it makes packing in the crates very difficult (I have to fit everything in one foam box)
b) I would have to charge more as each lid costs me upto .70 cents.
There will be a bit of an overlap as some bottles have the flip top
on them but eventually all lotions will be back to the pumps.
I have a couple of new products out being tested at the moment
so once I get the results back and only if they are favorable they will be put into production. Hopefully it won't be to much longer but I can't tell you much about them yet.
Well I am off back to the soap room before it gets to hot in there to do anything. I have fans going in every room and the house is not to bad as yet but once the sun gets over to the western side then it
gets to be air con time on days like this.
Stay well everyone and be kind to each other also don't forget the fur and feathered variety need looking after as well in this heat. I am off to check the water dishes are full as well.
Blessings.
