Good Morning,
Wow it was so very windy at our Market on Saturday but still there were lots of lovely customers around to chat to. All in all it was a good day although I did make sure we were anchored down and had to take all hanging things down as the wind was just to strong. Thank You to all that came and welcomed us back after not being around for 4 months due to our trip and the wet weather in September. We will be there every month now until Christmas weather permitting of course.
We went out for breakfast yesterday as it was a milestone birthday for me. Went over to Esk a small town about an hours drive north of where I live. There a couple of beautiful yester year houses that are restaurants so I chose the Manse or Rectory can't remember but it used to be a church ministers house.
You know the sort single walls and small little rooms here there and everywhere. We sat out on the verandah under the huge old camphor laurel tree and had a very enjoyable meal. Had lots of lovely phone calls and Facebook messages from friends and family that really made me feel special so hugs to everyone for your good wishes.
Now that I am officially old I can get on with all sorts of things only I don't feel any older so shall just keep on doing what I have been.
Having said that this week I plan on making more of my AWASSI Sheep Soap - have you seen the cute little sheep shapes yet?
Must be a milk week as I want to do Camel and Goats milk as well.
Will have to check the lotions and potions as well to see if I have to do more. I know quite a few went on Saturday and one lovely lady from England bought a years supply so that she won't run out until she comes again next year. Isn't that a great compliment.
I am gradually winning the war against the weeds in my garden now that it is getting lighter in the mornings I go out and get rid of some every day unless it is to wet but that doesn't happen much here at the moment so I am lucky there. I try to do a section each day and have had to resort to the hoe to get some tough ones out but hey Rome wasn't built in a day and my garden certainly isn't get weeded out in a day either. I will beat them pesky weeds though.
Well that is enough ramble for now so have a great week until next time be kind to each other.
