Firstly Welcome to all the new likers on my Facebook Page as there have been a few that I have not acknowledged. So Browse and check out all my products and if you have any questions please just ask I am happy to answer as soon as I see your query.
Well it has been a busy few days here running around mostly as we have both had appointments with doctors and such and I still have one more to go to find out if I have to have an operation.
In between this I spent one morning in the Darling Downs Handmade shop learning the ropes and will be there again on Wednesday to start my fortnightly duty roster. So if you are in the vicinity pop into the Wilsonton Shopping Centre and come and say hi. There is a café and also a bakery that both do yummy coffees .
I have managed to get into the soap room in between times mainly moving the curing soaps around and getting others ready for labelling and wrapping plus a mini stocktake to see what else needs making so once I get in more supplies from the wholesaler these will be made and left sitting to cure as you know this takes a few weeks so I have to keep ahead all the time.
If you are running late with selecting Mum a gift for Mothers Day then why not give her a lovely pamper gift. A gift can be just a bar of soap tied up with pretty ribbon or a large basket chock full of goodies that will pamper mum for a long time and don't forget there is free delivery if you live in the delivery area. You can choose which products to include or just give me a $ value and I can do it. Think about it as the offer is there until Friday. I am at Toogoolawah Markets on Saturday so if needed I can take any orders out to the venue and you can pick them up from there.
Not a lot has been happening in my garden but watering as I haven't had the time however I have a couple of guys come in once a week and they are gradually getting it under control. They do all the mowing and whipper snipping, trimming and plant removal and even shovelled a huge trailer of Horse poo onto garden beds plus much more. I cannot thank them enough as it has taken a great load off my mind. I am now trying to work out what to plant along the driveway bed as it has been stripped bare of the Giant Liriope that were there. I dug all my Iris and planted them in foam boxes so they will go back there but am looking for something as a back drop for them. Any suggestions?
Have had great success in growing agapanthus from seed and they are coming along so I have started to pot them on. They are going along the dividing fence on the topside now that the guys have pruned the tea trees and I can see the fence then when I start on the top bed I will move gazanias around and plant them right along the edge as they flower prolifically. Have a heap of Hippeastrum Lilies to plant as well so by next summer the garden should look a hell of a lot better than it has for the last couple of years. Then I will get in my native bee hives and hopefully they will thrive and multiply.
Well that is enough of my rambling Take care and have a lovely week where ever you are and what you are doing.
Blessings
