Good Morning,
Well Christmas and New Year are over and I am having a break from the markets for 2 months so am trying to get everything back up on track in my work flow.  I know I have been neglectful in my rambles but can only do so much each day and then I have to rest.  Part of getting old that I hate as I am the sort of person who if something needs doing then it gets done but this hot humid weather and my age is against me so I do what I can.

How was your Christmas celebrations ours was a nice quiet day spent with a visit from my grandson and his fiancée.  He popped the question the day before so it was excitement all around plus we had a friend of mine come over for the day and we sat around talking most of the day.    Hope you enjoyed yours and had a lovely time.

If you don't know already I have cut back on Markets and am only doing 2 regular monthly ones plus a few special events through out the year.   Ivan is no longer accompanying me to the markets and so I do everything myself which is no problem but now that my products are being stocked in shops and I am also doing some regular wholesale work I just don't have the time to do all the markets that I was doing.   You can still order online via website or Face book or email and phone are also options you can use.
Of course you can also support the Co-Op shop in Toowoomba for those who live up that way it is in the Wilsonton Shopping Centre and called Darling Downs Handmade.   Also the Old Church Gallery at Moore if you are over that way stocks my products.

I am also hoping to rationalise the number of products I produce so you may see some disappear if they are slow moving however if you really want them after I decide what will go then just ask as I can always do a batch of whatever on request if you like.  Do you think that is a good solution.   These are only my thoughts at the moment and I have to get stock takes done and stats on what is selling versus what is not so it is not an overnight job.
Never a dull moment around here is there.

We had some lovely rain during Spring but then the hot humid weather came and we have had very little.  I am out in the garden for an hour nearly every morning trying to get the weeds under control but fear I am losing the battle.  How I miss my garden boys as they were doing great in the weed department but I will get there in the end as the heat is starting to take it's toll even on the weeds.    My vegetables have been prolific and we have been enjoying lots of beans , zucchinis, eggplants as well as tomatoes lettuce and cucumbers.  Can't forget my rhubarb either even if it doesn't go red  rhubarb and apple crumble with ice cream yummo!

Lucky I had fans put in each room in the house as Poor Little Mac and Miss Megs my fur babies feel the heat with all that hair on them but with all the fans going they love to lay on the tiles under the fans and get the breeze on themselves.  I do put the air con on latter in the day when the sun is over the west side of the house and they have those shade cloth beds that lets the air circulate underneath so they are not hard done by in any way.  Doesn't stop Mac running around to chase his toys so not bad at all.

Well that is enough of a ramble from me Here is hoping that 2018 is a much better year for everyone.
Don't forget to be kind to each other as Karma is a bitch.

Blessings
