Thrusday 15th January

Good Morning,
I have been busy the last few days getting samples of new products made to go out for testing.   5 different things coming up once my testers tell me they are ok or not.  If not ok then back to the drawing board.

I took a day off and we went for a picnic right up the Brisbane river as far as I could go in my XTrail.  It was a lovely day out as was not to hot and oh so good to get out among nature.  I have never seen so many butterflies as they were fluttering up in the bush there must have been thousands of them just fluttering around whenever we went across a causeway.  the river has 30 crossings as far as we went and each crossing has some water although many of them did not have much and there were the butterflies either sitting in heaps on the mud or fluttering overhead.   All different types of butterflies as well.

Maybe I should try a butterfly swirl in my next soap.  I would if I was any good at them but I am afraid my soaps remain pretty plain not like some I see on my news fee in facebook.  I like mine plain as I want them to be used in everyones bathroom everyday not sat on a shelf to look at.  What do you like pain or fancy.  Why not leave me a comment so that I know if I am doing what you want.

I have remade the Pine Tar Soap with the correct Pine Tar this week as well.
It is not near as bad to work with as the Compound stuff that I mistakenly bought as the compound one stained everything it came in touch with.  Thank goodness my friend's daughter has horses and was willing to take the compound off my hands now I just have to wait weeks for this right one to cure and then find someone to try it and give me a review.  This batch was made with neem and other nourishing oils also water so next time I want to use Goats MIlk as I think that the Pine Tar, Neem and Goats Milk should really complete the recipe for troubled skins.

I made a Shampoo Bar a few weeks ago with Apple Cider Vinegar and have started to use that on my hair.  I think it is awesome and I will probably make all my shampoo bars with the ACV.   I suffer with an itchy scalp and nothing I have tried will stop it for very long but since I used this bar and I rinsed with ACV /water afterwards my head is not itching.  I will trial it over using one full bar of the soap and see how it goes over that time.  God I hope it keeps on working as my head drives me crazy.  I do not use any shampoo or conditioner at all now.

Well time to go and do the housework so be kind to each other and have a great day.

Blessings
