Oh boy it has been so hot and sticky here for the last week as summer has hit with a vengeance. We have had a couple of smallish storms that contribute to the humidity and I am thankful for the small amount of rain and the cloud cover as it would be unbearable if the sun was out all the time. It gets over 40 on my patio that has shade blinds right down the western side. Neddless to stay we are inside with air conditioning going each afternoon.
The heat has changed my working method and I am in the soap room by 6am to make the days products or tidy the place up as cannot work in messy area. Have managed to make several much needed logs of soaps and they are on the drying racks then in the afternoon I sit in my work area in the family room wrapping soaps that I made just after we returned from our holiday.
Work in the garden has slowed with the heat as well. I do go out and move the shade cloth around pull out a few weeds before I go to the soap room and check on the shade cloth through out the day plus to keep up the watering and my vegetables are thriving have some sort of pumpkins growing now I must have dried the seeds last summer from one we liked but didn't keep what sort it is so will have to wait until it gets pumpkins on it. Only hope they don't take over the raised beds as my beans are just starting to flower and the rhubarb and lettuce are thriving in the bigger bed.
Well Christmas is almost here as we only have 3 more Markets to do then we have 2 months off but of course we will be staying home and you can still place your orders for free delivery on any order over $25 with in the local areas of Ipswich, Toowoomba,
Rosewood, Toogoolawah and surrounds. If not sure then just in box and ask if we will deliver to you.
Also still time to get last minute gifts so if you have forgotten someone or don't know what to get them we are just a call away. A gift can be one bar of soap or a git basket made upto your requirements like I said just ask.
OK that is all for today as I have to go to PA Hospital for an appointment with my Physiotherapist am hoping it is the last visit as my arm and shoulder are so much better from seeing them for the last few months.
Take Care and be kind to each other.
Blessings
