Good Morning,
Would you believe I have been trying to find time to do a Ramble for over a week but this is the first time I have found myself actually sitting in front of the computer to do so.
Not only in the house and Soap Room but running Ivan to appointments visiting the Wholesaler and I dropped into restock the stock at the shop. Seeing we were in Toowoomba and almost halfway to Stanthorpe we continued on and visited the UGG Boot Lady as Ivan needed a new pair. It was a lovely day and the Autumn trees were just beautiful but that was my only break for 2 weeks.
In the soap room I have been extra busy and every soap curing rack is full of soaps waiting until it is time to shrink wrap and label them. I have started doing a few of the older ones just to make more room as have more to make including a new one for men so I hope they like it when it is available. Also have been making lots of lotions and cremes as I am trying to build up stock for some multiple shows that are coming up. My house smells so nice at the moment.
Didn't get to a Market last weekend as it was raining to much and I couldn't pack my car the night before so that extra day allowed me to get lots of little jobs done that I had been storing up for just such an occasion. Sure feel better now that they are out of the way.
My garden is really coming on as I have a couple of fantastic guys come in for a couple of hours each week and they are rejuvenating all the beds with aged horse poo and mulching with sugar cane mulch. They have removed old plants that were passed their time and prime and I have replanted the front bed with over 4 dozen iris plants so it is looking much neater. Now I need to go to the nursery and find some not so big shrubby type plants to plant down the middle of the row. It is amazing how good everything is looking but still got over half the length of the block to renovate and rejuvenate and thanks to a friends daughter for allowing me use of their trailer and supplying me with horsey poo
I hope it will be done over the next few months.
Don't forget I will be at the HERB AWARENESS SHOW which is being held on Sunday 28th May at
Albion Peace Hall 102 McDonald Road Windsor in Brisbane 9-4pm. First time I have ventured into Brisbane in my car so hope I find the place. Come along and check it all out.
