Sorry haven't been very active the last couple of weeks as have been busy finishing off a large order that I have been working on for weeks. Almost done just have some finishing off and then to pack and deliver.
It has been very hot here most days which doesn't help as means I have to getup and get into the soap room early to get anything done before the room heats up but by the time I finished I had a pretty good system going so that I could get everything done each day and yet still give my garden some attention and also Little Mac needs lots of attention or else he gets lonely.
Will continue this system while ever the heat is so severe as I am getting things done gradually and that is all I can as for. My one bugbear where the system is falling down is garden weeds as with the rain we have had the weeds are rampant and taking over so more help will be forth coming I am thinking to keep them pesky things under control.
Decided to take a day off on Monday and take Little Mac for a day trip to see how he went being confined all day in the car. He was a very good little doggy but has to learn to not bark at everyone so some more outings have to be arranged and get him used to being near people. He loves to meet people but the barking is a bit of the problem so will try and make him more people friendly.
He is having the snip operation problem tomorrow so will be a bit sad and sorry for a couple of days but then I expect he will be bouncing around in no time.
Not a lot doing in the Soap Room as been working on the large order however I have also managed to get some logs of soap made that will be ready in time to fill the Market Boxes when we return to doing the Markets. Still have Lotions and Cremes to stock up on and will start them next week so I expect to be busy for the rest of our Market break but will still take the odd day off to take Mac out to meet new people.
How is everyone handling the heat? I personally hate it and have been taking breaks through out the day to soak my feet in the Foot Spa with my Foot Soak Product.......Absolutely heavenly as I have the water just barely warm and the soak having magnesium and essential oils in it is so good to hot tired and burning feet. I make the mix fresh everyday and when I need to just sit for 5 minutes with my feet in the cool mix such bliss. Have also been using my facial mist to keep my skin hydrated and drinking lots of chilled tea as I ten d to get so thirsty. We do put the air con on but only when the sun is on the western side of the house as that is when it really gets to hot. We have ceiling fans going in every room as well.
What is your number one secret for keeping cool.
School Holidays will be over here in Qld at the end of this week so be prepared for the usual outbreak of head lice in this warm humid weather. We have a great solution for just such an event.
A NIT ZAPPER PACK. It is a natural way to control these little nasties so check it out on the website or Facebook Page.
Well that is all for today must go as still got 200 soaps to put together and then shrink wrap.
Take care and be kind to each other.
Blessings
