Good Morning,
Well we are well into summer now and the heat is really on. I am up at 5 am each morning to beat being outside in the heat. First take Mac for his wee walk which seems to be getting shorter and shorter as he gets so much other exercise guess he doesn't need the long walks then I spend an hour in the garden on weed patrol, should spend more but my back doesn't allow it. I am trying to get someone to come and help me by doing a couple of hours a week but not working out yet so have to do it myself until I find the right person. It is lovely being out there before the sun warms it up to much.
In the Soap Room things have been pretty quiet since my last ramble as my mind has taken a rest and I can't think straight. Haven't been idle though as have finished the 1400 guest soap order and packed them ready for delivery, kept up with orders that come in and made a couple of items that were getting low as well as cleaning soaps up ready for wrapping so it is not as though nothing got done just not as much as should have been done. I do plan to get much more done this week though just have to convince myself to get into it.
Is there anything that you the customer would like to see at the Markets and on the website. Just send me a PM and I will do some research and you can be the tester of anything you would like me to make.
Mac the Marvel is progressing very well with his training. He now sits every time he wants me to get him something without me saying anything. He comes and tells me when he needs to go outside to do his business and he is also becoming very cheeky and more adventuress as he settles down to living here. He barks at the school kids when they walk past to the bus stop and also at the cows as they go along our back fence. The poor little lizards that are starting to appear in my garden are living in fear as I let him outside for his wee walk without the lead now so he has found all the lizard hiding spots luckily most of them are under pot plants and Mac cannot reach them.
Twice a day he hares around the lawn out the back and wants me to chase him but I can't do it as I get puffed so easily but I clap my hands and he keeps going round in big circles then he comes in side and flops for an hour before up and at things again. Yesterday I was cleaning some soaps up ready for wrapping and didn't take much notice of Mac as he was a sleep in the chair when I stated but I walked into my en-suite later to wash my hands and the toilet roll of paper was all on the floor and around the corner into my wardrobe. So lesson learnt as it took me ages to roll it all back up. Mac has to go back to the vet this week to get his stitches out from him being snipped so am not looking forward to that. Thank goodness for vet nurses as no way I could hold him and let them do it. they will have to muzzle him first though.
Well that is all for today so stay well and be kind to each other.
Blessings.
