I know it has been awhile since I posted anything as I have been away travelling in the caravan again. Those who follow my Facebook Page would have seen all the photos that I posted to let you know where we were. It is difficult to post anything when travelling in the outback as service is very patchy but I did manage to get photos up whenever we came through a town Hope you enjoyed seeing them now it is down to business for me.
We had a wonderful trip around some lovely little towns out west of Mackay and right down into NSW as far as Cowra then we came up through the Blue Mountains and Sydney to Taree and up the coast from there.
We have been home for 2 weeks and I have almost finished labelling and wrapping all the soap I made before we left on our trip. Then I have all the crèmes and lotions to make as there are a lot of fairs and shows I will be attending from September onwards plus Markets that I normally do as well.
Hopefully I will be able to keep the supplies up but do wish that labelling was easier as it is the most time consuming section of the whole process. Never mind I get there in the end it helps that the TV is not far away and I can sit with it on in the background.
I have a new Soap This one is ' 50 Shades for men' as I thought it was a manly one but I love the scent and actually the colour as well so it may be a good one for everyone. I will get it photographed and up as soon as I can hopefully today or over the weekend. The Electricians are here installing security lights at the moment so the house is in darkness but hopefully they will be done and gone by lunch time. Also have the lawn mower mechanic in servicing all our equipment as our garden guys have not been here since we left on holidays and have now decided to go back to full time work.
I have another couple coming and they will use my equipment which has been sitting in the shed collecting spider webs and dust for the last 12 months.
Thank Heavens the place is not to bad being winter and all as 10 weeks without attention is just to long. I had yo give everything a good watering when we first come home and I have been able to continue building up the garden beds with horde poo and mulch but am now upto the renovation of the last bed aor top garden as I call it which means I need someone yo dig up bulbs and build up the beds before replanting also have heaps of lovely blue salvia that need digging and splitting up but we will get there in between doing all the other stuff as well.
Well that is enough rambling as I now have to go and check all the soap boxes to make sure there is enough stock for tomorrow's market at Toogoolawah.
Take care everybody and remember be kind to each other.
Blessings
