They say time flies when you are having fun so I must have had fun for sometime.
Time has certainly flown since I last updated my ramblings, Sorry it has been so long but there are only so many hours in a day that I can work seeing that I need to sleep sometimes. It is a real bother having to stop because the body needs to rest but I have managed to keep up to date with everything in the Soap Room as well as in the house and garden. If there is something that doesn't get done one day I just reschedule for another day and gradually I am reducing my internal list of things that need doing.
We started out to have a holiday back in June but only made it to Mackay before the engine was cooked in my car due to radiator hose coming off without my knowledge. It is all fixed now as I bought a 2nd hand engine from the wreckers and had the local mechanic replace the dead one. Touch wood my car is going well and is due for a service. That was the end of the planned holiday so we came home in a hire car and I went back to working in the soap room from July until mid September as I had a few large orders come in and my stock was depleted.
Started back at Markets in August then in September the multiple day Festivals began so back to the soap room as stocks got low again. I am hoping I have enough stock now to last me until Christmas but one never knows. There are only my 2 usual markets in November and then 2 more multi day Festivals in December then I take my summer break and maybe this year can work on some new Soaps. I have a few I would like to try so here's hoping I get the time to play.
How is your gardens going. We have green grass once again and I actually mowed it this morning. Live the smell of fresh grass and my garden is flourishing with all this lovely rain. My tanks have water although not full but it all helps and I have some beautiful flowers happening. Couldn't be happier as all the hard work my friend's granddaughter and I have put into the garden is certainly seeing results. Still have more work to do but like everything else around here it is on the never ending list.
My 2 fur babies are still doing well. Mac is almost as wide as he is long and I am not game to weigh him anymore. Trying to get his weight down is an uphill battle while Megz still amazes me as she comes out of her scaredy shell. She bounces around and plays when I come in from outside as though I have been gone for ever. When no one is looking she picks up one of Macs toys and shakes it then drops it down and keeps walking as much as to say I didn't do that. Both of them have the most amazing coats as Megz has nearly all grown back now and they get brushed everyday.
Well that is enough of my rambling so hope this finds everyone well and productive in all your endeavours.
Remember be kind to each other.
Blessings
