Oh Dear where does the time go to. I have been meaning to get on here and write another ramble but everything seems to need doing or hve attention at once around here.
Have had a very busy 3 months since finishing Festivals and shows in June keeping stock made ready to go. We did not go travelling this year and I used that time to get ahead or so I thought, I haven't stopped but am hopefully ahead now and have enough stock until Christmas which isn't far away. Note to self get on with the gift packs before it is to late.
I only have 4 or 5 more shows to do so had better get a wriggle on.
Last month I introduced Nag Champa a good old Hippie Fragrance. It has been very popular and I think I have sold out just need to do stocktakes in the shops I sell to. Have more ready to label and wrap next week and have just made another log so that I have more curing ready in a few weeks time. Also have another floral to release but more about that one when it is time. Nothing else has changed in the Soap Shed except I have now made my Men's Aftershave into a Pump pak Lotion and will see how that goes. Also have Beard Oil but in limited supply at the moment until I get more ingredients ready.
My garden is suffering with this drought. The tanks are nearly empty so they get watered very sparingly with town water. We have been eating sweet potatoes for a couple of months and I shared them around the neighborhood to those that wanted them. Any that are to small to eat are chopped up with other vegetable scraps and fed to the worm farms.
It is supposed to be 41 here today and the next few days are almost as hot. I need to get the shade cloth put up over what plants I have left in the vegetable patch so hoping to do that this afternoon after the sun has gone and it is not as hot. I have bird feeders out and we have counted 25 species of birds that come in for a feed. I love to see them in and also have birdbaths all around just so they can have a bath and a drink when they want plus I love watching them. Even had a king parrot in the other day for the first time.
Mac has started to go to Doggy Play Group 1 day a week and it is surprising how it is helping him. He is actually starting to hear commands and obey them which makes it all worth while. Still barks a lot and I don't think that will ever change.
I lost little Megz a couple of weeks ago. She had been diagnosed with kidney disease and it gradually got worse. She passed away quite suddenly and quickly which was a blessing. My little shadow is now an Angel Gone but never forgotten.
Well that is enough Ramble this time Stay safe and be kind to each other.
Blessings.
