My goodness where does the time go as it is now the middle of March already.
I have spent the last couple of weeks easing back into the Market routine even doing one on my own as Ivan had a Dr appointment and couldn't come with me.
We took Mac to the first one but I decided I couldn't watch him and set up the stall so he spent the morning at home wit Ivan until it was time to go to the Dr. Mac was a real good boy at the first market I was amazed at him as expected him to bark and be a nuisance but he loved meeting people when I took him for a walk and when we were back at my stall he went into his crate and had a sleep. He did bark a bit at kids running past or big dogs come near.
I have been dragging the chain a little over the last couple of weeks have made a couple of soaps that I was getting low in and tidied the soap room up. I have also added some new information on my soap labels to be compliant with regulations plus doing the normal things like shopping and housework so time has just disappeared.
Easter is on the horizon and while I don't make anything specific for Easter anymore I can do Gift Baskets/Bags for anything in my range to any price you wish. You can choose the products you want or I can pick them for you. My base scents are Vanilla and Lavender but if you want something else then let me know and give me a couple of days and it is ready to be delivered or you can pick up from the Markets I attend. I can only do Cremes and Lotions in a different scent as there is not enough time left to make a soap and have it ready but as I have many scents already in soaps there is probably one that you like waiting there for you. One year someone had me make Chocolate Lotions and Body Butters which was fun. I used to make Chocolate Soap but it was a very slow mover plus I hated the smell of it for the first few weeks until the scent settled in.
Mothers Day is not that far away and I have some lovely Heart Soaps ready to go these come in Rose or plain in Goat or Camel Milk. The Heart soaps can be a nice gift in a lovely Organza Bag on their own or part of a Gift Pack it is all your choice.
Are you getting any of this lovely rain. We have had 4mls overnight not enough to water the garden so I will be out there with the hose again unless it decides to rain properly today. I am so over the heat and am relishing the coolness of the early mornings at the moment. I spend an hour in the garden before sun up each morning as well as having my garden guys come in and do the heavy stuff and the mowing each week. It is gradually starting to look better and not an overgrown mess but will take a lot more attention to bring it back and get the soil built up on top of the awful clay we have here.
Well that is about all that I have to ramble on about so remember to stay safe on the wet roads if you have been lucky enough to get the rain and also be kind to each other.
Blessings
