Well I have finished attending Markets for this year and will resume again in March. It has been a very busy time for me since returning from our holiday at the end of July, making everything for the festivals and shows as well as keeping stock going for the Markets and in the Shop. I have not stopped running I can tell you.
Do you know what kept me on my feet literally well I don't mind sharing with you as I make both products and cannot tell you enough how great I think they are. I am talking about my Foot Soak and Cooling Foot Balm. I suffer with hot burning feet if I stand for to long and also get nerve ending tingles from damage sustained in a car accident years ago. I have a foot spa and whenever I am going to be in the Soap Room for any length of time I fill it with tepid water put in a couple of scoops of foot soak and a towel beside it. Then when ever I have a few minutes between soaping and cleaning up I come into the family room sit and put my feet in the spa for just 5 minutes ahhhh! heaven then pat feet dry and off I go again. It certainly has stopped my poor feet from burning and my legs from aching. At night I rub in the Cool Foot Balm as I get into bed and it is sheer Bliss.
Like I said things have been hotting up in the soap room and not just my feet. Once all the fairs and shows that I was involved in finished in November I had some wholesale orders to get done and still am beavering away with those so there is no resting on my laurels as it were. Christmas orders have been coming in as well so they have all been dealt with as quickly as possible as would hate to see anyone miss out. Keeps me out of mischief I guess.
I have also been endeavouring to spending as much time as I can in the garden trying to keep up with the weeds and getting the vegetable garden into shape for summer vegetables. I like to get out there early every morning to harvest any vegetables like lettuce, tomatoes cucumbers and of course rhubarb as well as several herbs and of course pull out any weeds I may see around but still cannot keep up with the damn weeds as we have had a fair bit of rain during October and November and everything has grown so well especially the weeds. I have a bird feeding area for the wild birds and they spill seed on the ground so now I have huge sun flowers growing and other birdseed which I pick for next door neighbours budgerigars.
In the last month I have also acquired another rescue fur baby. Miss Megs is a senior Papillon ex show dog who is getting cataracts and is partially deaf. She has never been really been treated as a house dog so is not a cuddly doggy but does love to have her head and ears rubbed. The only time I am allowed to pick her up is for brushing her each night or putting her in the porta cot with Mac. They both sleep in there without any problems. It is amazing to see the changes in her as she settles into becoming part of the family also the changes in Mac as well as he was getting way to spoiled and putting on so much weight. Now he shares his food and Miss Megs is starting to gain weight and broaden her diet somewhat.
Well that is all for now and as this will probably be my last post before the holidays I will take this opportunity to Wish Everyone the Seasons Greetings.
Take Care and travel safe
Blessings
